How to send us your logo
The better the file, the sharper the finished logo. Don't worry if you haven't got the perfect file; send what you have and we'll tell you if it'll work.
Best file types
- Ideal: vector files, AI, EPS, SVG or a PDF saved from a design program. Your designer or printer will usually have one.
- Good: a high-resolution PNG with a transparent background, at least 1000 pixels wide.
- Usually OK for embroidery: a clear JPG, because we redraw the logo for stitching anyway.
- Avoid if you can: screenshots, images saved from social media, and logos pasted into Word documents. These are often too small or blurry.
Tell us
- Where it goes: left chest, right chest, back, sleeve or cap front.
- Size: a left-chest logo is usually about 8 to 10cm wide. A back print can be up to about 30cm wide.
- Colours: Pantone references if you have them. Otherwise we'll match your file as closely as we can.
- Anything extra: names, job titles or a website under the logo.
How to send it
- Team packs: upload your logo on the pack page when you order.
- Quotes: reply to our quote email with the file attached.
- Any time: email sales@steelis.co.uk with your name and order number, or bring it into the shop on a USB stick.
What happens next
- For embroidery, we digitise your logo (turn it into a stitch file). New logos have a one-off £21 setup fee, and we keep the file for repeat orders.
- We email you a proof showing the size, position and colours, plus the stitch count for embroidery.
- Front logos of up to 10,000 stitches are included on team packs. If your design is bigger, we'll show the extra cost on the proof.
- Once you approve the proof, we make your order. Team packs are usually ready 10 to 14 working days after approval.
By sending us a logo you confirm you own it or have permission to use it.
